Sometimes, and it depends on the situation. Message us and we will look at it. Handing your spot to someone else is not an automatic right, it is something we sort out case by case.
When it is worth asking
You booked, something came up, and you know someone who can take your place. Ask, especially if kick-off is close and cancelling would mean losing the credit anyway.
We look at how full the game is, how close to kick-off we are, and whether the person taking over can actually be added in time.
What we need from you
Message the support chat with the game and the name of the person taking your place. Do it as early as you can. An hour before kick-off is workable, ten minutes before usually is not.
You settle the money between yourselves. We do not handle that side.
If it is more than twelve hours away
Do not bother asking. Just cancel in the app, your credit comes straight back to your balance, and the spot goes back on sale for someone else. That is cleaner for everyone and it is what keeps games full.
Why we do not make it automatic
An open transfer system turns into people reselling spots for popular games. Keeping it as a conversation means we can help when someone genuinely cannot make it, without creating a market.
The one thing to avoid
Sending someone in your place without telling us. The organiser has a list, teams are built from it, and a name that does not match creates a problem at exactly the moment they are trying to start a game.
