We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, phone number, profile photo), booking games (payment details processed by Stripe), and using our services (game history, preferences). We also collect device information, IP address, and usage analytics via PostHog. If you connect third-party services (e.g. Strava), we store OAuth tokens securely to sync your activity data.
We use your information to: operate and improve KickHub; process game bookings and payments; send booking confirmations and game reminders via push notifications; communicate about new games, features, and promotions; analyse usage patterns to improve the app; and prevent fraud or misuse of our platform.
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with: payment processors (Stripe) to process transactions; email service providers (Resend) to send transactional emails; analytics providers (PostHog) to understand app usage; and game organisers who need player lists for the games you join. Your display name and profile photo are visible to other players in games you join.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. OAuth tokens for third-party integrations are encrypted at rest.
If you grant permission, we send push notifications for game reminders, booking confirmations, and important updates. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or your KickHub profile preferences.
We use cookies for authentication sessions and local storage for user preferences (e.g. push notification status, booking count). Analytics cookies are used by PostHog and Ahrefs to understand traffic patterns.
You have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and associated data; export your data; withdraw consent for marketing communications; and opt out of analytics tracking. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@kickhub.app.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Booking history is kept for accounting and legal purposes. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
KickHub is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via push notification or email. Continued use of KickHub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
