Can I cancel the game I booked for tonight?

If kick-off is less than twelve hours away, cancelling means losing the credit. Above twelve hours it comes straight back to your balance.

So a game tonight that you booked this morning is past the window. A game tomorrow evening is not.

The rule, in full

Cancel more than twelve hours before kick-off and your credit is returned, with no expiry on it. Cancel inside twelve hours and the credit is lost. Simply not turning up counts as the same thing, plus a warning on your account.

Three no-shows in thirty days suspends the account for seven days.

Why the window exists

A spot released thirteen hours ahead almost always gets taken, often by someone on the waitlist. A spot released forty minutes before kick-off does not, and the game goes ahead a player short. The window is what keeps games full.

What you can still do tonight

Ask us about handing the spot to someone else. It is not an automatic right and it depends on the situation, but message us and we will look. If we can move it, you settle up between yourselves.

Turn up anyway. You have paid. Sixty minutes of football will probably improve whatever the evening was going to be.

Tell us if something serious happened. Injury, illness, an emergency. The twelve-hour rule is a policy and not a wall. Message the support chat and we will look at it.

Do not just disappear

Whatever you decide, message us as soon as you know. It keeps your record clean, and it gives the organiser a chance to fill the spot even at short notice.
