Planet Football has run football in Pattaya since 2009, and it operates two grounds. The main facility is on Soi Siam Country Club. This one, FC Planet Stadium, sits out in Bang Lamung on Pornprapanimit Soi 10, about fifteen minutes away.
Artificial turf, floodlit, used for club training, youth football and matches. It is the quieter of the two sites, which is usually a good thing when you are trying to get a slot.
Which ground am I playing at
This is the single most common mistake in Pattaya. The two grounds share a name, a phone tree and an organisation, and they are not walking distance apart. Check the address on your booking, not the name.
Turning up
Astroturf boots or trainers, no metal studs. Evening football, because midday in Pattaya is unplayable most of the year. Bring more water than feels reasonable.
